Huntington Avenue Grounds opens.

The home of the new Boston American League baseball team, it is located on the site which formerly hosted circuses, carnivals, and Buffalo Bill’s Wild West Show at today’s 400 Huntington Avenue. The team moves to a new stadium in the Back Bay Fens in 1912.* The site is once again for large, outdoor events.
